WHAT TIMES ARE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 72 hours before 3 pm on the day of arrival. Cancellations within the 72-hour day cancellation policy are subject to the first night’s room and tax. No refunds. Please be aware that attempting to modify a reservation within the 72-hour cancellation period will be considered a cancellation.
Promotional Offerings, Retreats & Events may have a different cancellation policy.
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT POLICY?
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to hold the reservation. The credit card will be authorized pre-arrival to ensure validity and a one-night charge will be applied.

IS THERE A BAR OR RESTAURANT ON YOUR PROPERTY?
Open seasonally, Fleming’s Lakeside is a casual spot to grab light fare, snacks, and beverages dockside while you watch the sunset or relax after swimming or boating.
Kanuga Dining Hall offers buffet-style meals in several dining rooms adjacent to the Main Lodge. Guests may enjoy round-top seating indoors, or outdoor seating on covered areas nearby. Menus change based on readily available ingredients.
Kanuga Cafe offers an intimate grouping of tables inside The Shop at Kanuga, where you’ll find fresh espresso and cappuccino, a wide variety of chocolate and sweets, charcuterie to order, cold beer, wine, snacks, s’mores packs, soft drinks, juices, flavored milks, and ice cream.
ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
Pets are permitted in select accommodations at Kanuga. Service animals are also welcome. A fee will be applied to stays with pets (excluding those with service animals). If pets cause property damage or aren’t properly cared for, a minimum $250 penalty fee will be applied and the guest may be asked to vacate the property. Please contact the front desk for additional information regarding pet-friendly stays.
WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY AT KANUGA?
There are designated smoking areas throughout the property. A $250 penalty fee will be collected from anyone found smoking in a non-designated area.
DO YOU OFFER PARKING?
Yes, self-parking is available and is included in the room rate.
DO YOU HAVE CAR CHARGERS?
Yes, but guests are responsible for bringing their proper cord connections.
DO YOU HAVE A FITNESS CENTER ON SITE?
Yes, Kanuga offers a 24-hour Fitness Studio featuring cardio and weight-lifting equipment on the property. An indoor gymnasium with a yoga studio, basketball hoops and tennis setup is located adjacent to the Fitness Studio. There are extensive wellness activities outside as well, including nature hikes and lake swimming.
