Late check-out until 12:00 PM is available for a $50 fee, subject to availability.
Reservations can be canceled up to 72 hours before 3:00 PM on your arrival day without penalty. Cancellations or modifications made within this 72-hour window incur a fee equal to the first night's room rate and tax. Different policies apply to promotional offers, retreats, and special events.
Yes, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day to assist guests with any requests or emergencies.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in to the property.
Yes, complimentary self-parking is available on-site and is included in your room rate. Valet parking is not offered.

Uber, Lyft, and local taxi companies service the area but peak wait times vary due to our secluded location. We recommend scheduling your return transportation to Asheville Regional Airport or other destinations well in advance.
No, we do not have a traditional swimming pool. Seasonal swimming, canoeing, paddleboarding, and boating take place in our private 30-acre lake.
Yes, we offer a 24-hour Fitness Studio with cardio and strength equipment. The facility also features an indoor gymnasium with a yoga studio, basketball hoops, and courts for tennis and pickleball.
Kanuga offers over 20 miles of hiking trails, lake fishing, a climbing wall, ropes courses, tennis and pickleball courts, athletic fields, playgrounds, and a labyrinth. Guests can also access Ride Kanuga Mountain Bike Park, which features downhill trails and on-site bike rentals.
Lake activities operate seasonally. Guests interested in swimming or boating should contact reservations@staykanuga.org for the current activity schedules and seasonal water opening dates.
Security cameras are active across the property, and on-site staff are available 24 hours a day to manage guest safety and emergency responses.
Yes, smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings and is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Violations carry a $250 cleaning fee.
